Rarely, if ever, are any of us healed in isolation. Healing is an act of communion.
— Bell Hooks

Through nearly a decade of education and experience in the mental health field, I continue to feel inspired and energized by the people I encounter. Therapy can be vulnerable, and I am honored that clients trust me to hear their stories and accompany them in healing. My highest priority is to create a space where clients feel safe to show up as the fullest, messiest, and most authentic versions of themselves. Folks who work with me often describe their experience as warm, nonjudgmental, and full of more laughter than they expected.

I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Music Therapy from Augsburg University in 2020, and I spent the beginning of my career as a music therapist supporting the emotional health of children and adults with disabilities. My early professional experiences confirmed that I wanted to offer talk therapy in addition to creative arts approaches, so I returned to school and completed a Masters of Science in Behavioral Health Psychology at Carroll University in 2026. My graduate school clinical experiences in community and university counseling centers gave me the opportunity to support adolescents and young adults in processing trauma, navigating life transitions, coping with anxiety and depression, and making sense of their identities.

As a member of the queer community, I know that it can feel scary to find a therapist who will be understanding and affirming. I prioritize creating a therapy space oriented around justice and focused on supporting people through their experiences of discrimination and oppression. I have a depth of experience in serving members of the LGBTQ+ community, people who identify as neurodivergent, and disabled or chronically ill individuals

I see clients as the experts on their own lives and work from a person-centered, relational approach. Based on clients’ unique goals and preferences, I incorporate creative arts approaches, narrative therapy, somatic work, mindfulness, and tools from CBT and DBT.

Outside of the office, I spend time caring for my senior rescue dog, sewing, reading, swimming, and perfecting my iced latte making skills.
